In January 2010 Andreas Fornwald started his work for Grupo Ormazabal. He is responsible as general manager of the Ormazabal GmbH in Krefeld, Germany.
Andreas Fornwald has extensive engineering experience as Director of Business Development in the largest division of Siemens, Automation & Drive, with particular focus on development in mature and emerging markets. In this capacity, he created new companies using global Siemens concepts and modified their structures and operations to meet local conditions. As a senior leader of international operations with a focus on electrical engineering, he was responsible for developing five-year country concepts and facilitating their implementation in the regions.
Andreas Fornwald served in Siemens for almost 13 years, before he joined Siemens he worked for four years in ABB in the power plant construction business. Andreas Fornwald
has a 17 year engineering experience especially in power plants industrial automation and drive technology. He benefits of extensive experience in creating and maintaining vendor and customer partnerships across diverse cultures. He enjoys rallying teams around the organization’s vision by motivating, mentoring, and cross-functional alignments.
In 2007 Andreas Fornwald was accepted to the prestigious Stanford University at the Business School. He was enrolled in the most advanced program along with 56 senior executives from 24 countries and graduated in 2009 as MS in Management an advanced MBA. He is also a Sloan Fellow of Stanford University. Andreas Fornwald speaks fluent French, German, Spanish, English, Russian and Portuguese.
